RIKO Chicken By La Abuela

I ordered a halal chicken burger and a halal Chinese fried rice with rotisserie chicken. I made sure to not only clarify my dishes need to be halal to 1 employee but 3 employees. I was shown a halal certified certificate as well to confirm that they understood I will not be having any pork and no other meats. I also confirmed 4-5 times by mentioning my dishes need to be served with only halal meat. I then was assured by an English speaking worker that also told me the dishes are surely halal. As I was comforted I received my dishes. Only 5 minute away from the restaurant I instantly gave them a call asking why there was bacon in my burger. I asked them if the bacon was halal to give them the benefit of the doubt but the worker told me only the chicken was halal. I also had taken a bite of

The rotisserie chicken here is very delicious! So also the sweet plantains. The restaurant is clean and has a nice homely feel to it. The wait was just too long and the language barrier was a bit of a pain (I don't speak Spanish). The chicken made it worth it though, I would definitely come here again.

OMG!! Absolutely mind blown. The food was incredibly delicious and the service staff was super friendly. Marlon was super knowledgeable about the menu items and what to recommend. Also, portion sizes are generous so definitely good to share as well! I’m Colombian as well and I can definitely attest to the fact that this is real AUTHENTIC Colombian food. Will most definitely be coming back
