Rick’s Steakhouse

This place is amazing. Local food, great prices and excellent service. Everything is clean and the food is delicious. Drinks are reasonable and plentiful. We had a great experience.

Staying in Fairmont a couple days on business and decided to try and find a local place to eat, as I like to support local businesses and try new restaurants when out of town. Found Rick’s with high hopes. Had a party of 4 and was excited for a good steak. However that’s not the experience we had. The appetizer came out wrong but I just thought maybe miscommunication between me and the waitress. No big deal. After 45 minutes when the food did arrive it only secured the red flag that the appetizer was. My wife’s steak was not cooked correctly. The Kraft Mac and cheese as our side was not very appetizing. We was informed that they had run out of mashed potatoes so I was told to choose another side so fries was chosen. Another up charge on my bill I soon learned. The burger another party

The pros - Rick‘s steakhouse provided a friendly atmosphere, clean, and overall cozy and welcoming. The cons: Limited parking We arrived shortly before 6 PM, waited roughly 10 minutes for wait staff to greet us at our table and bring menus. We immediately ordered our drinks and food. We did not receive our food until nearly 7 PM. While waiting for our food, I had to go up to the bar and request my own refill, To which multiple servers passed me and didn’t even acknowledge that I was standing there with an empty cup waiting for a refill. Our server failed to visit our table while waiting for our meal. No updates on why we were waiting so long, etc. She was noted to be standing in the kitchen doorway as we attempted to get her attention. One of two meals were completely incorrect, nearl

Food was great! Only 2 things I would suggest. 1. Would love to have bread or rolls with the meal. 2. The red “car sales” guy freaks people out as they walk out the door. :-). Maybe move it down to the corner. Would go back to eat. Thank you !

Atmosphere-4 stars- located in the Bellview section of Fairmont in the previously Mason Jar restaurant. Very clean with plenty of seating and a full bar. Service- 4 stars- Sierra was our server and she did a good job considering she was the only wait staff at the time. She was friendly and attentive! Food- 4 stars- nice variety of menu items as well as daily specials. I had the Steak Hoagie which comes in small or larger (6 inch or 12) I got the large and it was Large- more like Wide!! Packed with meat and cheese- I could only eat half. The small would have been plenty. We also got the Chicken Quesadilla which was very good. Only complaint is that sandwiches do not come with fries (that is extra). Would recommend and come again to try other items next time.
