The cheese steak was outstanding!!! Wish I had dug into the fries before driving back to my hotel (they were crinkle cuts, my favorites, but had cooled off during the drive). Loved the dine in side, that had the old-school video game tables... brought back some memories. If you're in the area and want a DAMN GOOD cheese steak, I definitely recommend Rick's!!!!

Such sweet workers, and some good food. Highly recommend those cheesteak egg rolls. Me and my father visited and they were sweet enough to give them on the house, after hearing we had been doing a cheesteak tour around Newport News. We took a photo but only after we had devoured most of it, that's a sign it's pretty darn good cheesteak. 🤣

02/15/2026 So I think you spend money here. The food is good though. I would eat here but I don't leave close. Next time I go just steak, cheese, onion,green pepper, mushroom, salt, pepper, Mayo, and yes I am a big boy.

Honest review. 2.5-3/5 The fries tasted exactly like they looked burnt and dry with absolutely no seasoning or flavor I ate two. Cheese steak with wiz was decent bread could’ve been better of toasted, lot of meat and wiz gave it the little bit of flavor it did have but all in all it was pretty bland. Nothing special about it. Would never go out of my way to home here again

Dax is GREAT, amazing kid . His energy and character are so welcoming and relatable. My husband and I had a long , day and we got a late dinner , I’ve never been here before my husband had come here a lot as a kid and it is….. YUUUMMMMYYY. They had darts which is nice , we played while waiting for our food which came out quickly and it was perfect. Cheesesteak had me on a cheese high & usually when I get a cheesesteak (not from here) it’s so greasy my bread is soggy but oddly LOL this bun was the softest and toastiest at the same time. It was so enjoyable I finished the whole thing. I recommend 10/10
