RICKEY'S on Coleman

Amazing meal at Rickey’s. Everything we ordered was delicious…fried artichokes, gumbo, shrimp remoulade, eggplant lighthouse, shrimp poboy, seafood au gratin, beignets. These guys have been on Coleman since before and will be a cornerstone for Coleman after.

Rickey's on Coleman is a great little casual spot. They offer dining room seating as well as bar seating and a back patio. The menu has a nice selection with several shrimp dishes, fish selections, and some American comfort food. Although they offer just one menu, the classics are reserved for dinner hours as that is when the fresh fish is delivered. The lunch menu choices come from the appetizers and sandwiches and salads. Price is good value. You'll likely have leftovers. We had lots of leftovers feeding us a couple more meals. The sandwiches look very satisfying. We had a variety of appetizers plus a salad. We're quite happy with everything we had. Service is very good. We had Kecia as well as several others to help her keep things running smoothly. Tip : Bring cash to avoid the 3%

I took my mother for lunch yesterday. I was so happy to hear that they reopened after a long time of being closed. Before they closed years ago, this was the finest seafood restaurant on the MS Gulf Coast. Needless to say, I was excited to go eat there again. Of course, I got Trout Treasures. Chef's Kiss. If you are looking for a great place to eat, go to Ricky's. Great food and a great atmosphere.
