Rick & Carolyn's Burgers & Fries

All the locals know that this place has not only the best burgers and fries in town,but the most amazing chicken fried steaks too! But order what you would normally like from their menu because it will be delicious! That's why I checked all the boxes for every choice in the reccomendations. Everything truly fresh and made right there. The seasoning for the fries is amazing. Onion rings are perfection. Generous portions of meat on the burger and fries in the combo. You'll be happy and full, but don't forget your ice cream! All combos come with a soft serve ice cream. And they prefer finish your meal first and then go back to the counter for your ice cream. Im obsessed with the steak fingers! Not only me but my whole family! We loved them! They're literally the BEST in this area. We drive from San Angelo specifically just to come eat here! Super friendly service too! UPDATE: The fries need to be changed not a fan of them at all. Most are shriveled up, and the amount of gravy they give you is not enough. And the steak fingers could use some more seasoning.

Hate to say negatives regarding a small business, but the first thing I noticed is the dirtyness the restaurant. After walking in, we encountered two employees just standing around talking, meanwhile, the bathroom is disgusting, the floors are filthy and the tables are dirty. Given the state of the dining area, how does the kitchen look???? It doesn't take much effort to clean up. We couldn't really enjoy the food not knowing that. The employees were friendly enough. The burger patty was overcooked and the burger was dry. The once frozen onions rings were just Ok. The drink station was dirty too. One and done!

I had a good meal, but unfortunately the burger bun was very dry for me, a shame, because the fries are excellent

Delicious Patty Melt and Onion Rings. (Onion Rings NOT greasy, slightly crispy on the outside and moist in the inside.) Owners and Employee Staff are very courteous, joyful, nice, respectful, and welcoming. (Service with a SMILE.) Great and relaxing environment, clean establishment, including restroom. (I didn't go into Ladies restroom. Lol)
