My husband and I walked in and were told we could sit anywhere we’d like. We sat down and were greeted by our waitress. She took our drink order and we ordered the garlic cheese curds as our appetizer. We didn’t have to wait long for our appetizer and drinks. Our garlic cheese curds were served with marinara sauce which neither of us cared for. They curds would have been much better with ranch dressing. We ate them without dipping sauce. They were really good. We’re from Wisconsin but have never been to a place that offers so many different types of cheese curds. We’ve never had garlic cheese curds that were fried anyway. The waitress took our dinner order when she brought out the garlic cheese curds. My husband ordered the 1 lb angus double stack burger with ketchup, lettuce, m
Absolutely the best fried catfish I've had since I was knee high to a grasshopper... If in area it's a must stop all you can eat catfish Fridays.... Served with french fry tater tots or coleslaw coleslaw was so good it was gone before I took the picture
I want to start off with a positive in saying the burgers were good. Now let’s get into the negatives, first of all they were not very busy at all but we stood at the front door for about 5 minutes before anyone greeted us, we ordered an appetizer of cheese curds and our meal. The meal took probably about 30 minutes to come out and they had completely forgot about the cheese curds, I let them know and they said they would give us a discount and they said they were sorry so we tried to just move on. We thought it would be a few more minutes and then we would get our cheese curds but no, we finished our entire meal before we even got the cheese curds, we were already ready to leave before they arrived but we still waited and tried 2 or 3 because we were already full from our meal hoping that
We stopped along I-44 at Rich's Famous Burgers in St James, Missouri. I tried the Western Burger (1/2 pound hand-pattied Angus beef, cheddar cheese, onion ring, BBQ sauce, on Texas toast) with fries. It was quite good and worth the stop in this quaint little town.
A friend recommended this place, and it seems like a popular local spot. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. The burger was really unique—I didn’t expect it to come on toasted bread instead of a regular bun! Our server was kind and explained the menu before bringing out the food, which we really appreciated. Even the cola tasted great!
