Country Cafe

Great food but no menus and no prices. $8.50 for 2 chocolate milk refills. Didn't have menus. But I heard one of the waitresses telling other tables they have everything on the menus, so I didn't understand that. I didn't see one hanging up on a sign or anything. When asked about chocolate chips for pancakes, "don't have em" strawberries for pancakes, "don't have em". When I asked for the bill the waitress specifically asked "if I was going to tip" not sure if I came off as rude at some point or if it had something to do with paying with a card. Not sure how but paid 60$ for 2 chocolate milks ($4.25 a refill) and pancakes and an order of eggs bacon and hash browns.

First off the Chicken Pot Pie was delicious! Next came Apple Pie, fabulous! Portions are leftover size-depending on you being able to stop and not eat it all at the time. lol Our waitress was great. Had been fishing at Maramec Springs and was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of food and service in such a modest and feel at home restaurant. I’d like to add not having to shout in conversation to my friend because of blaring music was an incredibly nice experience that’s hard to get any more.

Everything that defines a little country diner. Good food, good coffee, good friendly service. A "local" walked in, they asked if he wanted his "usual"...that is the best endorsement possible!

They were nice a6food was good but they forgot our order. My husband 1/2 lb burger and fries and I had chili. They should have offered a discount but never offered

Was a little disappointed. There was a long wait then my husband's mashed potatoes were cold and instant. The pork chop I got was dry. We thought things would be home made more I guess.
