Richland Library is a gem in the community! Dewayne, the branch manager, leads with care, and staff members like Olga and Jacob are truly kind and passionate about what they do. The space has been recently updated—it's beautiful, welcoming, and a perfect spot to explore. Everyone should stop by, experience the atmosphere, and check out a good book!

Very Racist! I normally always have positive reviews on places I've been. This is the first negative review that I unfortunately have to write. My Autistic Spectrum( high function) son and I visited this library for the first time because of work I was doing in the area. I felt the negative energy almost immediately after entering. The librarians (Caucasian female and Male) gave us a disgusting glare indicating that we are not welcomed, no greeting or anything. I brushed it off until I noticed every white person that enter was given a warm high pitched greeting by both of them. When a black man entered they treated him the same way they treated us, no greeting with an annoying look. Used to be amazing! The people in there now are rude. I was not greeted when I approached the counter and was completely ignored. I stood there waiting for a while and when someone else came in, they were helped with no problem. The girl was super young, so it’s probably just attitude, but it doesn’t belong at a public library! Go get a waitress job sweetheart! We will go to Florence for now on.

Very friendly personnel who work there, they are very friendly and will help you find books or even suggest books that you might enjoy.

Great! Front desk always ready to order books if not available and usually get them quickly. Great with author suggestions also.
