Richie's Gourmet Italian Ices

What a sweet find! No pun intended. Felt like a late night coffee: got something even better. Affogato with vanilla ice cream. Quick service the staff member working there was friendly and juggling the drive thru and walk up window alone. Ice cream was delicious. My friend had soft serve and it was very creamy and delicious milkshake. Reasonably priced too.

I can't believe we've lived in Broward for so long and never tried this place! I was hesitant at first because I'm not a big fan of fruits in cream based or chocolate desserts ...but this was delicious! The staff is very kind and helpful and service is quick. We got: Chocolate + Vanilla Swirl Cone : Super creamy, delicious and the cone was oddly amazing. Super crunchy and fresh. Vanilla + Cherry , Vanilla + Strawberry, Chocolate + Coconut, and Vanilla + Mango : Super creamy and yummy. The fruit- based Italian Ice add-ins have natural fruit and are not over sweet. It complements the vanilla custard perfectly. What a great sweet treat from a local staple, with good prices and kind staff. Will definitely be back! Thank you.

After reading glowing reviews I was very, very disappointed. Ordered a cinnamon sugar pretzel. It was super sticky and sickening sweet. I took a bite while driving and at the next red light opened my door and poured half a bottle of water over my hands to try to get off the stickiness. Worse than that was their so-called Italian ice. It was a shock. Nothing like authentic Italian ice which is like a sorbet creamy and smooth. This was completely crunchy and icy. Like shaved ice. I can see how it would be refreshing on hot Florida days but to call this Italian ice is most certainly a misnomer. I seriously couldn't believe it.

Ritchie’s is a local gem! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Always fresh Italian ice, great flavor, fresh, perfect texture. They use real flavors and you even get fruit in some of your bites. Coming here is always a treat. 12/10 recommend

This mid-day afternoon heat ain't no joke. Already feeling parched, I was in the mood for some refreshing Italian ice but I wanted to get it from someplace I have never been before. Located along Commercial Blvd, Richie's Gourmet Italian Ices has been a long time staple in the community offering Italian ice in a variety of flavors, as well as gelati, soft serve ice cream, shakes, snacks, and hot & iced coffee. You have the option of ordering at the drive-thru or the walk up window. The was a friendly male employee who was nice enough to make me a small Italian ice with the following flavors- watermelon, rainbow, and lemon. It looked really yummy, but it was actually really delicious and fruity...this might be the best Italian ice I ever had. Is it possible to give this place 6 stars? I
