Tripping Animals Taproom - Oakland Park

We threw a big birthday event/adult field day theme in the back patio. It was awesome, we had over 50 guests and coordinated with Mike on the catering and drink tickets. I would absolutely recommend the back patio space for a group event. We got the taco bar catered and enjoyed the food. It was really nice that we could use the space “complimentary” with our big catering purchase so we didn’t feel any stress or pressure to be out by a certain time. Mike made it easy to coordinate and Steven really held down the fort in the bar. I will be recommending this space to others for an event or just as a casual place to grab a beer and a bite

Gina and Mike are absolutely amazing! Every time we visit the brewery, they make the experience exceptional. They are incredibly knowledgeable about all the beers the brewery offers and always take the time to explain different styles, flavors, and recommendations. Not only are they super nice and fun to talk to, but they are also very professional and attentive. Their passion for the beer and for providing great service really shows. The beers are fantastic, and the outstanding service from Gina and Mike makes every visit even better. Because of the two of them, we always have an exceptional experience whenever we go. The beers at this little gem of a brewery taproom in Oakland Park are great. The space inside is small and a nice change of pace from the massive brewery a few blocks away. The bartender that served us was very friendly and informative. We had fun taking turns describing the flavor of the Sunset Serenade IPA with him. Everyone had a different take, but all agreed it was great. There is also a fairly large outdoor space with tables that would be a good option when the weather is nice.

Great local outpost of one of the Miami-FLL region's best breweries! Not brewed on-site, but still fresh from 45 minutes away. Only slightly limited on taps versus the main location, and with most cans available to-go. Fairly priced, kid-friendly food, plus other spots share outdoor seating. Free parking behind the building, too.

I had been wanting to visit Tripping Animals for quite a while as their Hazy IPAs are some of the better ones that I have had from a mid sized brewery. I will start out with the positives. The beer, no surprise, was really great....did not disappoint. The space...inside and out has a great vibe and if we lived here we would def make this a space that would be great to hang out for the evening. The really unfortunate part of our experience.... especially coming from other smaller breweries in the area with superior Hazy IPA options (Orchestrated Minds and Invasive Species) where the staff added so much to the experience.
