Rice Box Cafe

Rice Box Cafe feels like a hidden gem in Mililani Mauka. From the outside it looks simple with only a few places to sit, yet the inside stays clean, calm, and welcoming. Most folks choose takeout here, and I have always ordered online with no issues at all. Portions are generous, and every dish has rich, satisfying flavor. The menu is not very large, yet every item they serve tastes wonderful. I enjoy places that keep their menu focused and deliver great quality every time. People around Mililani already seem to love this spot, and I can see why. It has quickly turned into my favorite place for takeout in central Oahu. Try it once, and you will see why it stands out!

The food here is fantastic! I found this place while on a trip visiting the Dole plantation, and was looking for something with good reviews, of course. This restaurant absolutely lives up to the reviews: the food was incredible, and the staff were very kind. We got the chicken katsu and the Yakiniku Beef, which were both great. The restaurant itself is tiny and can only accommodate about 8 people, so to-go may be your best bet.

Food is phenomenal. It’s fresh and made fast. I tried tonkatsu sandwiches, salmon katsu, and yakisoba noodles. Every bite was delicious! Will come back to try more.

Really really good food and service. I tried them for the first time today and the presentation was amazing and the flavor was even better I got a side of their noodles and the plate was the heaviest side I’ve had. I had to wait for maybe 8 minutes and my food came out piping hot and crispy. The man that took my order thanked me for waiting and was very kind. 10/10

Enjoyed the Tonkatsu sandwich here - probably the most satisfying crunch of any sandwich I’ve ever had ever. Would definitely come back. Very small seating area inside - they seem to do a lot of takeout business.
