Rice and Spice

WORST FOOD EVER I had till date since I came to US. And worst ever service by the management. The biryani is spoiled and the chicken in that is smelling bad. When I let them know about the biriyani condition. They just acted like everything is ok. It’s absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. And they charged $39.94 which is an absolute robbing of money from people. When I asked for the dine in option, they told me that they won’t serving any orders for Dine-in. Instead they told us to have from the buffet. In which there is no breads, no roti, no naan, no curries, spoiled biriyani and chicken, MAY BE THEY ARE SERVING THE LEFT OVERS FROM LAST WEEK. People like these making Indian food questionable by making such a mess.

This is one of those unassuming places tucked into a strip mall that will surprise you. The food was spot on! The samosas were spicy, but not overpowering. The chicken tikka naan was a surprise hit. The heat was spot-on medium - not too hot and not too bland. Finally, the mango lassi is on the thicker side, but it was still smooth and creamy. I am definitely going back!

I am grateful for the choices and if the waiter asks what spice level I want medium always. Today I ate Chicken Manchow soup and a friend had Vegetable Manchow soup. Flavor knocks and kicks and is so fire! In case you want breakfast, they serve breakfast all day.

I have been eating at this place since last year. The food quality has been deteriorating lately. I ordered Mysore masala dosa and all I felt is that I am eating stale oil. When complained, they said it’s because of chili oil. Mysore masala dosa does not have chili oil. Idly I ordered was so dense that I felt like I was eating batter and had to return it.

I think that the server was attentive to us, and thorough about everything. But my drawback was the desert. The rest of the food was good, but that in particular was not worth the price in my opinion. Overall though, I like this spot so much! Ask for the butter chicken! Excellent sauce~
