I had the chicken fried steak with hashbrowns and eggs at 430 pm. It was soooo yummy and reasonably priced :) Cozy, down to earth. They had a fireplace going :) Fyi: check the hours. I noticed during the WEEK they close at 3pm except Friday and Saturday. Sunday they close at 2 ! Bring cash if ya wanna save as they have a small fee for cards.

We all enjoyed our meal, but I have to say they have the best Mexican skillet! It was so flavorful. I fully intend on coming back just for that. Service is friendly and inviting, even for my curious toddler.

Our waitress was lovely. The service was quick and we were checked on just the right amount. The food was good but nothing really special. Just what you expect for breakfast at a family restaurant. I will say this was the first time I ordered a breakfast skillet and it was not served in a skillet. The menu was large and they had a big variety of food options. The bathrooms were really clean which I really appreciated.

Portions were good size, food came out fast too. The server was friendly and attentive, she even kept an eye on my coffee cup to keep it full. I had to go with 4 stars though because the shredded cheese in my omelette wasn’t and didn’t melt. Otherwise it was good.

Very busy for lunch, so we were glad we arrived just before Noon and had a good choice of tables before it got crowded. I only rated the service a 4 because the server never came back to refill our beverages, both of which we had finished. The food was very good. We went on a Friday, and each had the Senior 2 piece fish fry plate, which was $8.99 before 4:00pm. There is a choice of baked or fried fish (cod), choice of 6 different potatoes, and choice of soup or salad. The soups that day were Fish Chowder and Chicken Dumpling, both very good.
