Restroom

Despite what this implies, this is not a review of the restroom. The state park is nice. There are only two places you are allowed to swim. Don't drive past swimming area two if you're just here to splash in the ocean. You'll end up turning around. However, the interpretative center right down the road is cool. They have all kinds of information about the local area, wildlife included. Upstairs, they have a small telescope where you can see an osprey nest, and the lighthouse on the other barrier island.

Locker-room style showers in the Men's room (no private showers) so be prepared for a snakefest in there. Single dads with kids beware.

Is a bathroom at the beach, pretty much what you'd expect.

Dirty and smelly. I feel like that's just what you should expect at the Jersey shore.
