Dewey's Dogs

The last time I had Dewey’s Dogs, it was when they were a food truck. I have moved states since they got a brick and mortar store, but I was in town and decided to stop by and taste something from my childhood. I got two Sabrett pushcart dogs with just ketchup. We also got the potato wedges with cheese. I remember getting the plain wedges and they were good. I honestly think the plain wedges were amazing. I also got some chicken fingers for my sister since she doesn’t do pork or beef. The chicken tenders came with a choice of honey mustard or barbecue, so we chose the barbecue. We did dine-in and waited just under 10 minutes for the food. It was amazing. The hot dogs were made with dirty water which gives them a lot of flavor. Chili dogs were great! Finally a place with chili with some flavor! It was perfect pairing! My father who is VERY picky eater cannot stop raving about them, he is now craving them! We did take out and the box packaging kept the dogs warm and together for our 25 minute ride home! WILL BE BACK AGAIN SOON! Thank you Dewey Dogs! Plus the guys were nice and professional!

The hot dog was very good. Here's why I gave it only 2 stars. The heavy set guy cooking, never changed his gloves, even after taking money. He then proceeded to lift his Beatles Abbey Road t-shirt and wipe his mouth, again wearing the same gloves. The napkin dispensers on the tables are filthy with old hardened food on it and the trays they give you with your order if you eat in are the same. Not clean.

Good portion but the potatoes were cut large and were soft. No crisp. Also, there was so much ketchup on the Italian hot dog that it was the only thing I tasted.

This place is right down the street from my work at Tigon golf carts. And Dewey definitely makes a good dog. Staff is awesome so is food would definitely recommend.
