Restaurante El Roble

Normally I’m pretty forgiving when a restaurant has only been open a month or two, so i get slow service (1hr just to get our food on lunch break, and only 3 tables occupied including us), but when your business is food, there’s just no excuse for bad food ever. Everything was extremely salty, a good indicator to cover up bad flavor. My burrito (steak and veggie) was next level bad. The steak was crispy and everything else was mushy. My chicken tamale was 99% corn meal, literally had one piece of chicken. Our tab for those items on lunch was $32.

We live right around the corner and were excited to try their food. We weren't disappointed. We ordered our food to go. The chicken fajita, spicy shrimp and papusas, were beautifully prepared, presented, and tasted so good. The portions were also great. Will definitely be back

Best Spanish food close by in muhl , priced very reasonable pupusas are the best and and amazing tacos. My go to spot atleast once per week . Keep up the great food staff

Terrible experience. The service was awful from the start the young wait staff were rude, unbothered, and completely ignored us after seating. The atmosphere felt tense and unwelcoming, and the food that we did see being served looked unappetizing. After waiting far too long with no acknowledgment, we decided to walk out. Definitely not worth the time or money. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until they make serious improvements in staff training and customer service.

Delicious family-style cuisine. The best pupusas in Berks County, and beyond! The tacos and quesadillas are also great! And beef stew on the weekends 😋
