Decided to drop by this spot and it was well worth it! The portions are huge! I had leftovers, the photo is just some of the food on a plate. I got brisket with a side of mac & cheese and collard greens. It was so filling and perfectly cooked. My brother got the mac & cheese with pork. Plus the server was super friendly and helpful. There's not much seating there so I do recommend getting it to go, or even ordering ahead of time for pick up. I will be coming here again!
I was cruising down the street and caught the smell of smoky BBQ aroma… Reo’s Ribs! I’m from Chicago and I was not disappointed. I am so happy I came back! But ironically I did NOT try the ribs 😅 I had the beef brisket plate with skillet corn and coleslaw. The brisket portion was generous, thick juicy cuts with perfectly burnt ends. BBQ was fire and the corn seasoning was tasty. I was not expecting much from the coleslaw…yet I was blown away by the secret dressing, liquid gold! 😋 I guess I gotta come back for some baby back ribs 🤠
Amazing food and good service. The banana pudding is the best, but they sell out quickly. The five meat sampler with the 3 sides is the best bargain, and could feed a small family.
Reo’s has a great barbecue, I loved the okra, although a bit salty so eat it with rice, had to add some unsweetened tea to my lemonade because it was a bit sweet for my taste, but if you’re from the south, this place will feel like home. My partner from Georgia says it taste just like a good ol family and friends barbecue back in Savannah. The rib meat falls right off the bones, the sauce will have you sticking your fingers in your mouth whether you washed them or not (guilty), the fried okra is crispy-delicious, and savory as it melts in your mouth - albeit a bit salty, lemonade a bit too sweet for my taste, but she loved it and says that’s how it’s supposed to be back home, given she was a bit sad that the potato salad was not yet ready when we were here. All in all, if you’re in the moo
Great brisket sandwich with plenty of beef. Coleslaw was not mayo based and came with dressing on the side. Different taste than the standard slaw in other places. I'll come back and get it again.
