Renegades BBQ

Road tripping across the West Coast and stopped here to on whim. My BF is from Texas and was prepared to be judgey but we both were very pleased! We tried the sampler, tri-tip Philly, and fry bread and it was delicious

Used to love this place! Today went and got a $40 meal, tri-tip, pulled pork, Fry's, chili and three buns on the side. Was told The fryer was way backed up and it was going to be a while for my fries, so decided to get a beer and wait. Finally got my order and when I got home there wasn't any fries, or chili, and the pulled pork was burnt, crunchy, and extremely dry. Including the tip it was $48. Totally disappointed!

I have never had your food and I found it in Door Dash. I have lived in Prineville almost my entire life as well as Portland for a few years in my adult life. I have to say. I took a leap and ordered the tri tip sandwich and holy cow!! That’s good. Then I tried the coleslaw and oh my gosh!! That was good!!!! And the curly fries and fry sauce. Wowza!!!! I am filled up. It was so good and did not cost very much!! All around my new favorite bbq place!!

I'd like to start by saying the two women in the truck were rockstar. I have Alpha-Val Syndrome and cannot have a vast majority of commonly eaten foods, I can have bird, fish, and plant. I cannot have anything mammal. Those two were gracious enough to listen to me talk about my allergies and were able to answer questions regarding how food is prepped, cooked, and the ingredients. I was able to order their smoked turkey, fries, and coleslaw. They even took into account how the turkey would be warmed for service, and asked me if cold was okay (it is). This place gave me 5 star service and 5 star food. The smoked turkey is easily in my top three of smoked turkey out of all the places I've had smoked turkey at. And I've been through a lot of states.
