Rehoboth Beach Public Library

Such a gem in the center of a very commercial beach town. This is a haven to readers of all ages: adults, teens and children. There are special room, interesting programs and lots to read. They offer friendly help to get books, media or newspapers and get going if you’d like. They are connected to all the libraries in Delaware so you can request anything and have it sent to you. There is a bank of computers for public use. Very peaceful place to read, think and get informed.

I am a lover and user of public libraries around the country. Rehoboth Beach may not have the depth of titles in house, but the staff is so friendly and helpful, they will search all of Delaware to find your book. You can’t ask more than that. They are also good at suggesting titles and authors.

The most dedicated, hardworking, kind, friendly librarians in the state of DE! They go the extra mile to find films, books, and information for their clients. Always with a smile! If you use their services - Show your LOVE, they work hard during the season!

It was a great library. However, that's if they would have longer open hours. The main time to study is Fridays and the weekends. They close way too early. Matter a fact, they don't even open on Sundays at all. I would go again, but they just don't seem to cater to college students. Its more for public school kids that get home at 3:00pm and retired people.

The Rehoboth library is right in the heart of town on Rehoboth Ave, which seems fitting because it really acts as a kind of civic center, In addition to the usual collections of books. DVDs, and audio, they have a wealth of programs to appeal to every age group. Should be among the first stops for newcomers to the area!
