Homestead B&B at Rehoboth Beach

I have visited The Homestead many times over the years. I remember my first visit (in pre-Covid days), coming downstairs to breakfast. As usual, I stuffed myself with pastries, not realizing that a full-on gourmet breakfast would be served.||Because I usually travel with a dog, I appreciate The Homestead's pet policy. In my last two (post-Covid) visits, I stayed at the separate house with its own fenced-in backyard. One of my dogs acted as if she'd never seen a backyard before; she was in heaven.||Over the years, there have been additions to the property and its amenities. Everything (both inside and out) is maintained in immaculate condition. This was our third time staying at the Homestead B&B with innkeepers, Joe & David. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. We stayed in the Carriage House Loft which is charming, beautifully kept, and full of beach character. The loft was spotless, cozy, and had thoughtful touches that made it have that beach like feel. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious—homemade, fresh, and served with so much care. We highly recommend having breakfast in the main house room. In the past we always are in our room but due to the weather we went to the main house and had wonder conversations with the Joe & David. This was our first stay at Homestead B&B (August 15-18, 2025). It will NOT be our last! Joe and David are phenomenal hosts, the accomodations and grounds are gorgeous, and their breakfasts are exquisite - often featuring ingredients grown on the property. In an industry where customer service seems to be a thing of the past, Joe and David know how to take hospitality, comfort and guest services to the next level. We no longer have to decide on a place to stay when traveling to Rehoboth Beach. We will always come here!

My daughter, Bichon & I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials (and then some…luxurious linen, comfy bed, white noise machine, cozy dining nook, bar glasses & ice bucket, delicious breakfast). It felt like a true home away from home. The host was incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. They provided great local recommendations and checked in to ensure everything was perfect — which it was. The location was ideal: quiet, safe, and close to everything we needed. The Homestead is a superb B&B which we highly recommend. Joe and David have anticipated every possible "want" of a guest. The room was immaculate and very comfortable, and well-appointed. Breakfast options were varied and delicious. The pool is a beautiful spot for relaxing and also immaculate. There is a bocce court and a relaxing lounge on site. The B&B is ideally located in the respect that it is removed from the center of Rehoboth Beach which can be very congested, but close enough to reach town quickly. We plan on returning!
