Red Velvet Inn & Gallery was sold in 2025. New owners have not decided when they will re-open.

The owner communicated very well with us, not only about the Inn amenities and check in/out, but she also shared information about local shops, restaurants, wineries, etc.|The accommodations were as comfortable as the conversations we shared with other guests relaxing in the evening and at the gourmet style breakfast table (complete with china cups for coffee)! The historic house is filled with local artwork & beautiful antique furniture. Individual rooms are uniquely decorated and ours was so comfortable that we were actually able to sleep in!! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed two days at the Inn and Carol could not have been more accommodating. From our phone exchanges I figured the stay would be a pleasant experience but she was beyond helpful. As others have stated the Gold room beds were comfortable and my nieces loved the bathrobes. Getting in and out of the footed tub needed to be done slowly but the bathroom had all our needs. Breakfast that Carol made at our requested time was plentiful and delicious. Location was also very close to the main square with shops and restaurants. Would not stay elsewhere in Navasota.

I wish I could give more stars. The Red Velvet Inn is such a treasure. The beds are extremely comfortable, the bath is AMAZING, breakfast is absolutely delicious and gives you that home cooked happy feeling, there is beautiful art work all over, and the location is so cozy. Carole is the best host and makes sure you're taken care of. I will definitely return soon!!

First let me say Carole (owner) is a class act. She was hospitable, warm, generous and all around a wonderful pleasure to get to know. She has put a lot of love and care into making the inn comfortable and homey. As an avid supporter of the arts I appreciate her willing to use the inn as a gallery for local artists. She is also a painter and made the weekend exciting with a paint and sip party. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, had well stocked fresh linens and were maintained well. Beds were comfortable with a plush comforter in our room. Breakfast was delicious as well as she keeps a 24/7 stocked snack and coffee/tea center. I highly recommend a stay at Red Velvet Inn!!

My daughters and I recently took over the entire second floor so that we could attend a funeral. The B&B is under new management with Carole being extremely accommodating, friendly, professional, and also an excellent cook; her breakfasts were creative and delicious. The rooms were clean and furnished appropriately. The large bath tubs with feet were a treat. I definitely recommend this B&B and will stay there again the next time I am in Navasota (which is a charming town).
