McGinty's Best Thing Smoking BBQ

I was very impressed with the portion sizes, very generous. The brisket lived up to the reviews and chatter about this place. The Mac and cheese was so good, along with the potato salad. I will be back when I pass through town again. I have already recommended it to friends, telling them the place is a hole in the wall but well worth the stop.

If you are looking for BBQ with flavor and to take home this is a great choice. The man who runs it is friendly and a good pitmaster. The Mac and Cheese was excellent! The Peach Cobbler had good flavor and spices in it. The window attendant was helpful and checked on us when she could. We had several different meats and were all yummy. The loaded potatoes were not your typical "cut a Russet in half and throw stuff on type" it was done a little different. Would definitely get it again.

Big Sleepy Dog I am from Mississippi and when I tell you this place is amazing. I work for the railroad and I was looking for something too good to eat and I ran across the place. I can’t believe it took us so long to try it, but we will be coming back. Soul food Sunday every Sunday, best soul food we’ve had in a long time. Definitely recommend the yams, ranch potatoes, collards, and Mac n cheese (I do t know what they do to that Mac but holy smokes, it’s amazing). Outside eating only, take out is a must in the summer.
