Red Star Coffee Company

Our espresso shots were super bitter today. I don't know if the water was too hot, or the machine had old oils on it, or maybe brew time was too long but man was it unpleasant. The gal taking our order was unwilling to swap ice cream in the drink for cream or whole milk which seemed odd. The blended drink was probably fine but the added bitter shots made it almost undrinkable, and absolutely not worth the $27.56 for 2 large drinks. The 2 gals who helped us were pleasant and warm.

I ordered a small chai and the girl was very friendly and helpful. But my drink was almost entirely ice. With a tip it was over 6 dollars, so it was kind of a bummer to get five or six gulps before it was empty. :/

Their drinks and food are good but i don’t think i can go there anymore. every since they relocated, the service is slower, the baristas ask me what my drink is 3 times, something is always wrong when i get my drink. im a barista and i just feel like these girls aren’t trained for long enough bc something is always wrong.

This is always my go to coffee spot in Moscow. I absolutely love the coffee and the customer service is always amazing! I get exactly what I ask for with no complaints whatsoever. I suggest Red Star to everyone passing through or in Moscow, it’s my new favorite place for coffee! I usually get there pretty early in the morning to beat the line and the baristas are always kind and friendly! ❤️

I have not found a better location in North Idaho that serves coffee. Nearly all restaurants or coffee shops that serve coffee over roast their beans leaving the coffee tasting bitter or burnt. I can happily say Red Star has always had terrific coffee that is perfectly made each time.
