Ok so this place is out of town from me. I was looking for somewhere with just basic american food and chose here. Parking is almost non existent. Looks like from outside like it used to be an old corner gas station. And when you walk in front door you are hit with realization that it must be the smallest indoor dining restaraunt youve ever seen. Seating capacity must be about like 15 people over 5tables. Theres also a bar where 4+ people can sit. The decor seems, i dont know, lacking. The different vintage salt and pepper shakers on each table was kinda fun. But thats probably because i used to collect salt and pepper shakers long ago. Space is cramped and looked like they were struggling with service. It took a little long to order and double as long to get food. Now to this point i was
Excellent service. Good parking. Excellent BBQ ribs and BBQ chicken sandwich. Substantial portions.
Amazing place. Service is on point. Also I do not know who is doing the dishes in this place, but the silverware was insanely clean and polished. We had the bacon cheese burgers and shared the small curly fries. Yes that is the small curly fries. Only trick to this place is parking. It is tight and a bit limited. In the end the food and most definitely the staff make this a must do. Can’t wait to go back and try the ribs. Went back and tried the onion rings. They are insanely good. I would be hard pressed to do the curly fries again. Wife had the roasted turkey sandwich which came with some amazing baked beans. This place continues to amaze.
Craved for bbq when we visited Napa. Rib and tri tip hit the spot for us. It comes with 2 sides. I got the tri tip soup which is really good. We also got the mac and cheese, slaw and potato salad which are alright. I like their salt and pepper shaker, different on each table. The one who got our order was accommodating.
This place is a Gem. Hidden in a little corner that was a gas station decades ago is a family run lunch and dinner diner that should not be missed when visiting the Napa Valley. From the BBQ, make your own salad menu to the eclectic collection of salt and pepper shakers on each table, this one of a kind eatery is one you should not miss.
