Red Lobster

Whenever we visit State College, Red Lobster at North Atherton is a must! Lobster, snow crab legs, shrimp, calamari ...all fresh, exquisite, and delicious always; presentation and ambiance excellent...biscuits and salads are also excellent. 5 star all the way...

My husband and I live 2,500 miles away from family, so the holidays especially Christmas kind of suck. This year we went to Red lobster Christmas day, and holy crap they knocked it out of the park. It was so much better than we had anticipated. I got the salmon lobster and grilled shrimp in a brown butter sauce, it was exquisite, and exceptionally delicious. My husband who is extremely picky was also very pleasantly satisfied, which is saying alot! I forgot to take a picture of our food because I was so excited, but 10 out of 10 would highly recommend. And since poor Dan had to work Christmas day we made sure to tip him 30%. Thanks bud!

I'm extremely disappointed with our recent dining experience at this restaurant. We visited to celebrate a birthday, but the service was subpar. The restaurant was empty, yet they refused to accommodate our request to replace a side dish due to dietary issues. The food was also poorly prepared - my husband's salmon was burnt, and the dishes arrived at different times, causing one family member to eat last. The manager's absence and lack of explanation only made things worse.

My wife and I stopped to eat after a long day of shopping. We were immediately greeted when we came in and were promptly seated. Our server Cashmere (Aniyah G) took our drink order and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu to order appetizers. She then came back to take our dinner order. She gave us periodic updates on our appetizers and entrees. She also did an awesome job of making sure we were ok. When the appetizers came out the calamari and stuffed mushrooms we were very pleased with the large portion sizes and the quality was very good. For our entrée we both got the Ultimate feast and the presentation was beautiful and the taste was oh so good. I only wish i would have taken photos. My compliments to the kitchen staff. Red lobster has definitely changed for the better. Never used to like coming here too risky for how expensive things are but this experience has changed that for me. We took the risk and I’m glad. Many thanks to the new CEO! We dined in. Staff were really nice and our waitress was the best! The biscuits were nice and fresh, warm and soft. The boil bags were absolutely delicious!! I got the original Cajun flavor and it was perfect was not too spicy at all but enough flavor for me! I also tried a whole 2lb lobster for the first time and it was very good. LOTS of meat! The boil bag and 2lb lobster was enough for 2people. The lobster comes with 2 sides as well. I got the hush puppies and they were really good.
