Amazing find. My celiac son was looking for a restaurant that was different from the usual GF choices in the area. We stopped and came in. Our waitress immediately talked about the safety and the cautions they take to prevent cross contamination. Then the owner came out and identified the table to make sure the kitchen prepared his order safely. The food came out quickly and truly was phenomenal. I had a fish sandwich that was huge. My celiac son had ribs and plenty of choices for sides. In laws had a brisket wrap and pulled chicken sandwich. Service was beyond anywhere we've been recently, the staff stops by tables not assigned them and the result is a restaurant that is busy but you wouldn't know it. Everyone gets service. This is my favorite BBQ spot in State College! The brisket sandwich is incredibly tender and juicy, and you can tell they take their time with the smoking process. The mac-n-cheese and baked beans are both standout sides. Don't skip the deep-fried cornbread dessert—it’s unique and absolutely delicious. Friendly service and a great, casual, family atmosphere. I Highly recommend!

Stopped in after my wife’s doctor appointment Thursday. My wife , mother and myself had an amazing dinner . Met the owners and they are so kind . We will definitely be coming back often.
