Red Lobster

This has always been my fav restaurant but I haven’t been in a few years. Yesterday we went to the Davenport location for date night/early Vday and splurged. Best dinner ever my husband loved his sesame soy salmon bowl and I’ve never seen him clear a dish so fast. My ultimate feast of course was delicious and our drinks were amazing as well and our server Ariel was awesome never had to wait for anything and had a great attitude

The new lobster boil was amazing! It came fresh in the bag, and the lobster was so tender, especially with that signature butter. It was definitely a must-get item!

Despite nearly 20 trips to the U.S., I had never tried Red Lobster — until now. After a long day of driving, it happened to be the closest restaurant, and all I wanted was a quick meal before heading to bed. As the name suggests, Red Lobster is all about seafood. They do have some surf & turf options and plenty of lobster dishes, but I went for the shrimp and scallops skewers, served with rice and broccoli. To be honest, that broccoli was probably the only real vegetable I’d eaten on the trip so far. The food was good, but it’s clear that this is chain-restaurant quality. Nothing wrong with it — just predictable, standardized, and lacking the personality you get in smaller, local places. And compared to prices in Decorah, this felt noticeably more expensive. We hadn’t been to a Red Lobster for a long time due to a number of less than great experiences. However, we were pleasantly surprised! Our server Mya was very friendly and provided excellent service. The happy hour Margarita was a bargain and was mixed just right. The caesar salad was fresh and my lobster flatbread was tasty. We will be back!

Had a great time tonight at red lobster our server traizail was amazing. Even with a busy night very attentive and very sweet to me and my sister. So glad to have come in tonight definitely will be back!
