This place was amazing! When you hear "woodfire grill," you're not sure what you're gonna get, but this spot totally nailed it. The decor is super classy and welcoming, the food is made with care and tastes delicious, and the service is just phenomenal. We tried some of their Thursday special today, which had a special fried chicken marinated in jalapeño, but don't worry, it's not spicy at all. This chicken was so juicy, the coating was super flavorful, and even the veggies and cornbread were perfectly made—not dry and with a touch of sweetness. Our other dish was a fantastic Southwest-style salad with grilled chicken—seriously, a flavor explosion in the best way. This place has so much going for it; take your time, their menu is huge, and their drink menu is too. Honestly, you'll find som
The hosts don’t even look like they work there so it can be confusing for customers walking in. We got sat down right away bc it wasn’t a busy night. Got sat with Patrick who seemed like we were inconveniencing by sitting in his section. There’s no connection with the customers. People like to say servers don’t do anything but servers are very much part of your eating experience, and when the service is not even mediocre, it throws off your meal. Food was okay. I think it is very overpriced for the amount of food you get. Eating a steak here reminded me I need to make it at home instead. Ambiance is nice. The drink, their blackberry mojito, was also tasty.
We always enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the food! Always a must for us is Calamari, Fried Pickles and Pretzel Bites! We had yummy cocktails and Beignets too!! The best part of our experience was Kim!! It felt like she was family. We laughed and joked and she made every effort to make our experience the best! We all said, we want to know her schedule, we would return to this location just to hang out with Kim again for the evening! Pay her more! She’s worth it!
Pros: (1) Fairly clean (2) Pretty good menu selection (3) The food’s flavor is good - the chicken is one of the better chickens I’ve had, though I don’t eat a lot of chicken at restaurants Cons: (1) A bit on the pricier side of things (2) The caeser salad was listed as coming with avocado, but didn’t. We did mention it to the server, who was a bit surprised it didn’t have any in it, and they fixed it
Amazing! The Woodfired Chicken was tender, the broccolini and kale flavorful. Loved the pretzel bites. Our server was polite and attentive. Cajun Pasta was good, and the Sirloin Steak was just right.
