Red Bowl Sushi & Asian Bistro

A couple days ago, I decided to stop by Red Bowl for some sushi. I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted so I went in and asked for the menu. Their menus were old and had all the prices crossed off because they were not updated, but I didn't think much of it since I understand not wanting to be wasteful. I decided to order the chirashi bowl that was supposed to come with 14 pcs of fish. The total came out to $27 and some change. I thought the price was a bit high given that I could've ordered Kusshi's chirashi for about the same price, but for 14 pcs of fish, who was I to complain. I picked up my order and went home to eat. I noticed that the bag felt fairly light, but sushi isn't exactly dense. When I got home, the first thing I noticed was that there were only 10 pieces of actual raw fish.

Me and my boyfriend went here for a date recently and the food was AMAZING. We ordered 2 specialty rolls and I don’t think I’ve tasted sushi that fresh and delicious before. However, I do understand why people are leaving lower reviews for service and gratuity. Our server was very sweet and polite but we weren’t provided a menu until we had been sitting for almost 10 minutes. Also, our 2 rolls only came to $30 but we were charged $40. They automatically charge gratuity to your bill which is fine but it was around 33% which is very high (twice the recommended amount), we were already planning to leave a decent tip. Lastly, we noticed that there were multiple posters on the wall offering discounts for leaving a 5 star review. This may violate certain policies and is distasteful to some custo

5 star for 5 reasons 1. Everything we ordered was fantastic! From the sushi, fried rice , and chicken dish. The sweet potatoe with cream cheese roll is awesome! Wish it was a bit more crispy but still very good. The chicken roll was a 10/10 crispy, juicy and simply delicious. The orange chicken was flavorful, tender and crispy! The fried rice was also well seasoned and your typical fried rice, very good. 2. The customer service was good and attentive! 3. Quantity of food you get is really good! 4. I have been here 20 times and food is usually good BUT today I ordered mango and sticky rice, my favorite dessert. They gave me regular white rice (no sticky rice) mangoes and crushed peanuts. Not only is that totally wrong, but when I asked for a refund they said they have done it this way for 10 years. Said I have to drive it to them and they might give me a refund. Really poor business practice and they lost a 5 year loyal customer

We have eaten here several times with friends. Never disappointed. Tonight we had the Egg Rolls, Shanghai Mini Pork Buns (my favorite), Slice Beef Noodle Soup Szechuan Style and Hunan Chicken. All very tasty and delicious. Service is excellent. Very attentive. Enjoy!
