Red 8 Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar

Wow. Delicious orange chicken, great sushi and the best service we’ve had in a long time! It was slower, so maybe that’s why? But we were sat immediately, food came out fresh and fast, and we were well taken care of. Prices were also really fair. $6 for a tampura roll? Hard to beat. They even cooked the salmon in a sushi roll so my wife who is pregnant can enjoy her typical favorite too! We had our little 1.5 year old with us too, and they were very accommodating for our little family. We can’t wait to go back!

By far my favorite place in all of Utah. I love sushi. Always an enjoyable experience! Prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly. They have a lot more options other than sushi too! I usually do takeout.

The food was very good for the most part. We enjoyed the rolls and curry, but edamame had a bit too much salt and wantons weren't my favorite. However, we were served quite fast, so we didn't have to wait for the service. The staff were very polite and nice. They stopped by a couple of times to ask if we needed anything. I didn't give the atmosphere a top rating just because there's nothing much to say about it. Very simple but clean interior.

My wife and I have gone here a dozen times or so over the past few years. They usually have pretty decent sushi. We brought the family there for my son's birthday on Thursday. We like to tip cash because the government shouldn't keep half. We paid $25 tip on a $112 bill. I signed the receipt $0 tip and told the waitress I left the cash on the table. Later that night I noticed they charged my card $144. An extra $32 tip on top of the generous $25 I paid in cash?? I hate thieves and dishonesty!!! I'll never go back!!!

Meh, they have the right ingredients for Asian food but it's not put together correctly. Lived in Japan for 3 years. I have never seen a scrambled egg put into ramen... It was not great. The calamari was thicker than fried onion rings, and were chewy. I've also never seen Donburi served on a plate. Like I said they have the right ingredients but definitely not anything close to Japanese food for the most part. But tasted okay
