Reader's Cup

Love this coffee house! Readers Cup Coffee House has not only amazing coffee and fun, holiday-themed drinks, but their baked goods are incredible too. I especially enjoyed their sugar cookie — perfectly balanced sweetness, beautifully decorated, and the frosting-to-cookie ratio was spot on. I loved sitting in the cozy loft area overlooking the coffee shop and bookstore. It’s such a charming spot in a great neighborhood for walking around. Highly recommend!

Perfect atmosphere for working or studying. The vibe is just right, such a cute shop! I almost wish I lived in Cedar Falls just so I could go here on a regular basis. Unfortunately they don’t have any coffee options under 12oz which usually isn’t a good sign in my book, but I decided to try a cappuccino, and the ratio of milk to coffee was great considering! Give this place a try! ☺️🙌

The vibe here is immaculate, wide variety of drinks, so many books, delectable looking pastries and a couple food options. They know how to prepare Avacado toast for sure SO GOOD. the one negative thing is while the latte ratios are great and flavors are great, the espresso is bland. It does not have enough acidity to it to make it a really yummy coffee lovers latte, nor is espresso very great on its own, unless you're the type of person that doesn't like acidic espresso.

There's a good reason this place has a perfect record as far as reviews go. When in to wander the shelves for a good read, and ended up with some illustrated works by Tolkien, and a 10 percent off coupon for coffee. I got some espresso and some Chai for my girlfriend. The vibes were on point, and the coffee was great, no weird silt or sharp flavors, just a good brew. Must be FatCup ;) plenty of options, and I'm sure the food is good too.

Support local and go to Reader's!!! Best coffee and matcha in Cedar Falls in my opinion. They also have a lot of pastries, cookies, and some breakfast options. Their avocado toast is amazing!!! It's so cozy inside with the loft and decor. Staff is very nice and remember my name most of the time:) I enjoy coming here to read, journal, or hangout with friends. I do wish they had more seating inside. It's often too busy to find a spot to sit down, but i'm glad they are getting good business!
