Ray's Golden Lion Restaurant

My partner and I have been long-time vegans and Ray’s was one of our favorites for their decent vegan menu that was really tasty. We’ve ordered their vegan Philly cheesesteaks multiple times and in the past, Ray’s used vegan meat crumbles and them being $20 each was justifiable. We ordered the same sandwich today and expected it to be the same, but the vegan meat was swapped for refried beans and still costed us $42 total. I don’t think swapping vegan meat for refried beans and still charging the same price is fair or right. There should have at least been something said that the recipe changed or that they may have been out of the usual ingredients. The sandwich was still good, and we still ate them as to not be wasteful, but I’m disappointed because we loved being able to go to shows and

Ray’s showcases local bands and has a great atmosphere! Good food and gf options available.

The show on 11/10/2025 rates a two thumbs up! The first three bands rated a solid 4.3, Soulfly a perfect 5!

this opening up again is so darn good it finally happened!! I used to come here back then before it closed... so many good concerts 💀 the food has changed it's no longer Chinese food but! THE NEW MENU IS AMAZING!!!! they got all kinds of different stuff to choose from (including Vegan and Gluten Free options) my fiance and I had: The Nacho Burger The Pickle Rick Burger (the fries were delicious! some really good fries!! oh the fry sauce and the garlic aioli sauce is perfect btw!) and then the Fried Twinkies... EVERYTHING WAS GOOD!!! all in all I highly recommend this place to anyone! P.S. the bar is great too!!!! tons of selection

*Menu/cocktail menu photos included* We had a great time here. The food was pretty good and the service was exceptional. Our server, Ashley, was friendly, thoughtful, and quick in her service. I'm looking forward to going back. The Roujiamo burger was very tasty (can't go wrong with a lime sriracha crema!); and the aioli that was served with the tots was *chef's kiss*. Our burgers were a bit on the rare side, which I enjoyed, but my friend needed it a bit more well done. They accommadated quickly and kindly so don't be afraid to ask for what you want. I find good service to be rare around here so tip generously and show your appreciation! Also come out and support this TC legend not only for shows but meals and drinks too.
