I went to Ravi Kabob in Virginia and tried their chicken karahi and channa (chickpeas). Both dishes were very flavorful and delicious. I didn’t enjoy dining in at the restaurant, but I would definitely visit again for carryout. The food was excellent, but the seating area and ambience were not to my liking. I think the restaurant could pay more attention to the ambience to make it a more inviting place for customers to sit and eat.
The food was disappointing and unfortunately left us with upset stomachs afterward. We ordered the lamb chops and bone-in chicken, the chicken had nice color, but it was a little too red to be comforting. The place could really use a thorough deep cleaning as well. I wouldn’t recommend it.
This is not the same as I remember it really 2000s - the taste wasn’t there much. The chicken Karahi was meh. The naans were harder. The chickpeas still taste good though but not as good as the golden days. We came here a lot and this time it was little disappointing
Amazing Kabon restaurant in Arlington, way better than the Kabob Palace, people here are friendly and kind. My favorite is the Lamb Chop kabob (note: is not the lamb Kabob), and another important reason that make me choose this one is they cooked Naan very soft and clean, not like the hard, burned one in Kabob Palace. I came here to have lunch once a week, you need to wait after you order (especially the lamb chop), but the waiting time is acceptable. The parking space outside is pretty limited, I recommend to park in the parking lot of the Catholic Church. Came here to try this restaurant, you won’t disappoint.
It's a desi cusine with a taste of Pakistani food. During the Ramadan, they served fruits, pakoras, dates, soup, and zam zam at aftar. There, bar b que chicken was delicious. It was soft, tender, and tasty, served with rice , green chutni, salad, and chickpea. Chicken karahi was also very tasty. Tandoori naan were also excellent. Sweet and mango lassi were also very delicious. Overall it was a wonderful aftar cum dinner. Facility for prayer is also there. Service needs improvement as well ambience is so so. Yesterday, we again enjoyed the food and aftar. It's a wonderful experience.
