Rangeley Lakes Bed & Breakfast

So, let us tell you. This is a lovely place. Rangely is a favorite spot of ours. We climb saddleback mountain, we charter boats for site seeing, we shop the main Street stores, we enjoy the delicious maine street foods....every restaurant is phenomenal. This bed and breakfast is operated by a fabulous couple who are excellent hosts. We enjoyed 2 days of conversation, comfortable rooms and amenities, and delicious home cooked meals. This bed and breakfast is up for sale, which is unfortunate because the current owners are fabulous, but also fortunate because this property is fabulous on all levels; on the lake, on the beach, on main Street, large and gorgeous, and would make a fabulous private home or another fabulous bed and breakfast for another entreprenuer. Just returned from our annual pilgrimage to Rangeley to play in the New England Pond Hockey Festival tournament. This year was the 4th or 5th year we have stayed at the Rangeley Lakes Bed & Breakfast and honestly, it is one of the parts that makes the weekend so much fun. The host, Sandy, is one of the nicest and most accommodating innkeepers that you will meet. He always gives us a warm welcome and has our rooms clean, fresh, and ready to go. This past weekend, the outdoor temperatures were below zero and Sandy had the big wood stove in the common room toasty warm. The B&B is within walking distance of everything in town (restaurants, bars, Rangeley Inn) making it super convenient. My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Rangeley Lakes bed and breakfast at the end of September. We had come to visit to do some hiking and to hopefully see some moose. We arrived at the bed and breakfast and felt very welcomed. The owners Barbara and Sandy gave us loads of helpful information on trails to hike and Sandy shared his trail map with us so we would have an idea of our options. He gave us places to go to assist us in our moose search which turned out wonderfully. We had great and filling breakfasts and Barbara made killer blueberry lemon scones on Sunday morning. The home was clean,welcoming and comfortable. We will absolutely go back and stay there again. Thank you Barbara and Sandy for making us feel so welcomed.

My husband and I dropped into Rangeley last October. It was a lovely place and decided to spend the night. Luckily, there was a room for us. It was perfect being on the||main st. We walked everywhere in town from there. The houses had such fun and artistic Halloween decorations. Barb and Sandy were great hosts, making sure we were comfortable. Breakfast with them was a fun feast. They are beautiful people! We really enjoyed our Stacy there. Barb is an incredible cook and shared her recipes with us. ||We hope to return there in the future. Sandy and Barb were two of the nicest people I have ever met. We had a wedding on there grounds that turned out beautiful. The wedding party stayed with them the night before and the night of! Very comfortable pillow top bed and great breakfast each morning with an awesome view and short walk to the lake. Everything you need right there! Wish we could of stayed longer! Will Have to do this visit again!
