Range Cafe Los Lunas

First time dining at the range Cafe here in Los lunas. The service was great! We got seated right away. The atmosphere was warm and Inviting. Our waitress April was phenomenal! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed! We ordered the Classic NM enchilada plate, the Lobo Club, and sweet potato fries will melted cheese. The food was fresh and exactly what we ordered! Very tasteful and fulfilling!

Got a gift certificate and it still was a major disappointment. Every single time we give this place a chance the food is terribly bland and/or they get our order wrong. Ordered the shrimp pasta and green chile cheeseburger sliders. The shrimp pasta was VERY watery with almost no flavor whatsoever. The green chile cheese burger sliders were also flavorless and the meat only covered half of the slider on each. After giving The Range several chances over the years (including the other locations), we will not be going back. We can cook way better at home. Service is okay at best. Atmosphere is beautiful and unique but doesn’t make up for the BLAND food.

I love this restaurant! The food, service, the decor, everything! I even bought a cookbook here. The menu choices are great, the portions are generous, and you should save room for some decadent desserts. Maybe avoid the bartender/waitress person… she didn’t bite but I wouldn’t want to catch her on a bad day. ALL of the other staff were great!

A friend of mine gave me a gift card for the range because I moved to Los Lunas New mexico. We went for breakfast there yesterday and it was completely amazing! All of the food is made from scratch and I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. The chicken fried steak was fresh and not frozen with it being hand battered and fried to perfection! It was one of the best chicken fried steaks I've ever had in my life and it was topped with sausage country gravy that was amazing! Our server Eric was very friendly and eager to take care of us with anything that we requested. He is an amazing server and this is an outstanding restaurant that I highly recommend! Give it a try!

Lively and lovely neighborhood hangout. We enjoyed the quesadotacos and Chile replenish. If I'm a local I'd be frequenting place at least once a week.
