El Toro Patron Taqueria

I recently tried El Toro Patrón Mexican Food and had a great food experience. I ordered the beef flautas and they were so tasty. The flautas came with crema, queso fresco, topped with shredded lettuce and an endless variety of homemade salsas. The menu has a variety of classic authentic Mexican plates.. The service was friendly and the staff were welcoming, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable—perfect for a quick meal or a relaxed bite with friends or family. If you’re looking for solid Mexican food with good portions and a laid-back vibe, El Toro Patrón is definitely worth checking out. I’d come back again and again. El Toro Patron is family owned and family ran establishment, and the family takes pride in the food and service they provide.

Stopped in at El Toro in Los Lunas — and wow, the food is phenomenal. You can tell they really care about their craft. Everything coming out of that kitchen tastes fresh and intentional, and the place itself? Spotless. Dining area, kitchen, even the bathroom — probably the cleanest setup we’ve seen in Valencia County. That said, it’s pretty pricey. We grabbed 8 tacos and the total came out around $36. Small business ain’t easy these days — between wages, food cost, and keeping a building running — we totally get it. Still, for that price point, two people should probably walk out feeling full. Owner fully explained any menu item we asked about. They had a buffet bar for different salsa and hot sauces. We had 1 chicken and 1 cheese quesadilla. The flavors were totally their own. Definately would reccomend.

Best tacos on our road trip! We ordered the tacos Al pastor, which had a super tasty surprise, a bit of pineapple. Yummy! Liked the Mariachi tunes & clean bathroom. Will eat here again when in the area.

Absolutely amazing food and service! Some of the best food I have had in all of Los Lunas, the addition of the torro shaped chip was amazing! Flavorful meat and amazing salsas. The customer service was stellar and very welcoming and the explanation of everything there is to offer as well as how things are prepared was amazing. Definitely will be returning many more times!
