Ramada by Wyndham Waupaca

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. My issue is the height of several things. I am a short person and could not reach the shower head to adjust it. The knobs for the hangers were too high for me to reach and if I was any shorter and would need the iron, I would have to be very careful getting the iron down. Two years ago I stayed at the same location when they were revamping the hotel and while we were checking into the room a maintenance person was installing the knobs for the hangers. I mentioned they were too high and he said he was just following directions.

Positive: "" Negative: They pool was closed without warning, the gathering area had a tournament where kids were not allowed on a hockey tournament weekend, there is a bat living in the stairwell that staff was aware of and the soap was mounted so high kids cant reach it!

Anyone looking to stay here for the pool, its closed. You wont be able to see it anywhere online until you physically get there. A sign on the door saying pool.closed for painting and remodeling. It was.saying it on a sign in the check in counter saying to follow them on Facebook for updates. I dont have a Facebook account so not everyone is in the know. Their own website says nothing about pool closure. Google maps says nothing. But hey, if you got a Facebook account go check it out. I dont have one nor do I want one a Facebook account. Rooms are not soundproofed. Granted it "seemed" better then a regular hotel, but definitely not soundproof as boasted. Great amenities here, they have so much stuff to do. Their gym is big, and their bar has pool tables. The staff are very accommodating and polite. Definitely recommend!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! CONVIENT LOCATION DOESN'T MAKE UP FOR IT. We stayed at this Ramada Inn for a Hockey Tournament the weekend of 1/9/26-1/11/26. Nothing about the stay was pleasant. Come to find out the pool had been closed since November shortly after we made the initial reservation. At this time we explain how horrible our hotel experiences were and that the pool was an absolute must. We were assured that wouldn't be a problem. We booked a conference room for a team dinner after and was assured that would not be a problem. Not only did they not let us know when the pool went down. When i got wind of it about 3 weeks prior to the tournament. I called and the staff doubled down and said the pool would absolutely be open. We show up and the pool is closed.
