Raised Donuts & Bagels

First time here and new to the area, we were looking for a good bagel and doughnut shop. Raised bagel and doughnut did not disappoint. Bagel and doughnuts were very fresh. Bagel breakfast sandwiches were very good too! Definitely found out new go to spot!

I knew I was in for a treat when I saw this place already had a line when I walked in at 8am. The smell of fresh donuts from down the street guided me to this place! I went for the apple fritter and it was huge and delicious. I will be back to try the Mochi donuts next time! Friendly customer service as well overall great experience and delicious donuts. Need to try the coffee and bagels next time!

Love fresh bagels and the ones here are great. A super way to start the morning for me is ham, egg and cheese on a fresh plain bagel and then driving the 1000 yards or so to watch the birds on the Levee. Raised Donuts is super. They accepted my phoned order without confirmation, saving me precious minutes which I happily lost talking with the friendly staff. Very interesting Lennon mural.

Finally, a place that puts the “frit” back in fritters! I loved this place, a fun find on the way to LA. Originally stopped for a bagel 🥯 or croissant but they were all sold out. Normally, I would have left because most donut shops don’t make donuts very well anymore- they’re just deep fry cooks with dough rather than embracing the art of the donut 🍩 and all the creativity that goes with that; for the calories consumed- well, I’m a bit of a snob and demand taste, texture, smell and visual delight- it’s part of mindful eating and moderation, that I’m practicing. (Why waste precious intake on anything less if you have the option?) I knew I was in the right spot when I saw the selections. Sweetest employees ever, clean place, and delicious food. The croissants are super crunchy and buttery. It was my first time trying this place and the old man made my morning!
