Raimo's Pizza & Restaurant

I used to come here all the time 30 years ago when I lived in Freeport. I had an opportunity to go out with friends who currently go to Raimos. I ordered their special with eggplant parm and veal. It was awesome and a huge plate. They have a wild mushroom pizza that my friend loves and I took home a stuffed pie that I remember from 30 years ago. It was also amazing. I The service was fine, the waiter friendly and attentive. I live in suffolk county and work in Brooklyn, buy I will make this one of my "goto" stops for great food on the way home from work.

One of the best pizzerias I’ve been to. Every visit to NY, I always stop by to pick up a pie. I love the Zeppole’s and buffalo chicken pizza is one of my favorite toppings from here. Pic is half/half.

The pizza and pasta are delicious but the customer attention is terrible I didn’t feel attended at all but the food is absolutely delicious and the music is incredible! Recommend if you’re a fan of Italian food.

I had one of the worst experiences at this pizza spot. I came in and placed my order over the phone for pick up only to be completely ignored while the staff helped people who came in after me. No one acknowledged me, apologized, or even tried to fix the situation. It felt like my business didn’t matter at all. The food might be okay, but the way they treat their customers is unacceptable. I won’t be coming back — there are plenty of other places that actually respect their customers and know how to provide good service.

When on Long Island, Raimo’s is the Italian spot of choice. The “to go” experience was just that.. Place your order, pay, wait then go. While the gentleman that took my order was kind and friendly, his focus wasn’t on the experience. The pizza was pretty good with just the right amount of cheese (no complaints there), the garlic knots were cooked a little too long and the Zeppoles (not sure if I spelled that correctly) Italian food lovers may know about this tasty treat🙃 The large Zeppoles offered too much dough and not enough powdered sugar. Location…great, Food…ok, Service…ok.
