It is a typical American restaurant . Surprisingly, lots of families were eating there . The truffle fries were delicious and crispy. The service was great . Only minus one star because the steak came out rare ( cold inside ) ( supposed to be medium rare ) . But the manager and staff were very friendly and kind . It was my daughter birthday. So they offered a free dessert which was very kind of them .
We enjoyed drinks, apps and dinner here before going to a concert. I had one of their barrel aged drinks which was great. We shared oysters, arancini and the Tuscan chicken. We had a booth w nice view of the bar & our server was friendly and attentive.
Disappointed with the experience. We were there last night... Sunday night of Presidents Day weekend. This is the second time we've gone. The restaurant was at about 1/3 capacity. Our waiter, although very personable and having a quirky sense of humor, seemed to be stretched a bit thin. The first time he came around for the drink order, one of our party was using the restroom. We asked him to come back which took quite a while. We eventually got our drink order in plus one appetizer. The drinks came quickly, the appetizer took longer than expected. We then ordered 4 entrees. Mine was the Bourbon Steak Tips, medium rare. They came out VERY RARE/FLESHY. I called the waiter over and he agreed that the were not as ordered and took my plate. Unfortunately the 3 others had their meals and I was
We recently dined here and overall had a decent experience. However, our service was a bit underwhelming. The server didn’t seem as attentive or engaged as we had hoped, which impacted our overall experience. We understand everyone can have an off day, but it didn’t quite feel like the level of service that usually warrants a full 20% tip. That said, the atmosphere and food were still enjoyable, and we’d be open to giving the restaurant another try in the future.
I wanted to try some clam chowder and this spot was one of the few that was open at 10am. The chowder was phenomenal; I should've ordered the bigger portion. I followed it up with some crab cakes which were delicious. Made me take small bites to appreciate it fully. I went in on a Sunday morning and the place was not busy, but traffic grew when I left. Service was fine; environment was great.
