In House Cafe

In House cafe is a great family run Syrian inspired comfort food restaurant. There's a wide range of menu items for lunch to dinner but it's obvious that brunch is most popular here. We really enjoyed the vibe in this open and sunny space. On a Sun morning, when the place was packed and there was so much hustle and bustle around us, the place felt homey and relaxing. The chef owner was welcoming and generous, giving us samples to try as it was our first time there. The typical brunch items, pancakes, waffles, eggs and sausages were quite good and were generous portions. The only complaint was the overcooked poached eggs, probably due to the busy kitchen during peak brunch time. The drinks and the Syrian breads were all great. The staff were friendly and efficient. What a charming restaurant. Food was delicious. Service was outstanding and friendly (Thank you Martha for your excellent service with a smile). The restaurant was very clean as was the bathroom (always check the bathroom, lol). Also, the restaurant itself was very unusual and quirky. Absolutely loved everything about it! It was our first time eating there however, definitely won’t be our last. We will surely drive 1.5 hours to eat there again.

My wife and I love this place. It’s always consistent with service and quality. There’s such a nice home-y feel and everyone is welcoming. The decor is also really well done. The whole cafe gives off a warm feeling especially for someone with Syrian roots. I could not recommend this place enough.

We dropped in yesterday in between home viewings and were told that it will take about 25 minutes to prepare the amazing looking food platters that we saw. Not having enough time on our hands the server went out of her way to make sure we had some food - so she quickly prepared some bagels/cream cheese and coffee for our takeout. Very friendly and professional service. Ample street parking around. Has a lot of internal seating along with some outdoor seating options. Very welcoming and friendly vibe!! Will definitely revisit to partake of the amazing Mediterranean menu that we saw there were savoring!

In House Cafe is a true gem in the city of Brighton! Absolutely delicious food, my friends and I each enjoyed a wonderful wrap that was presented beautifully on a plate with sweet little heart shaped cucumbers. Even more so than the wonderful food and menu of options for everyone, In House has the kindest staff of any place in Brighton. My friends and I throughly enjoyed meeting Maria, Martha, and Ahmed. They were so attentive to us during our dining experience, going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. I highly recommend their Pistachio, Mint, and White Chocolate coffee! We were truly blessed by the time we spent at In House Cafe today, I can’t recommend it enough! I know we will be back soon.
