We’ve been coming to Raijin Ramen for years, and we absolutely love this place. We brought our friends from Vegas here yesterday, and they instantly fell in love too! The Black Garlic Ramen was the top pick at our table — rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. It never disappoints. I personally go for the Red Spicy Ramen, which has the perfect blend of spices and just the right touch of heat in every bite. Raijin Ramen is truly a Tucson gem. Highly recommend!
Our party of four stopped in for some ramen prior to seeing a show at The Rosa and were wow’d by Raijin. The ambiance is laid back and unpretentious, with retro video game tracks playing in the background, and a group of young staff members who were genuinely having a good time together. We’re pretty sure that our waiter was dared to use a thick Tennessee accent for his whole shift, and he did a pretty good job of it, but the crisp clean Bass Pro hat was a dead giveaway. Still, we enjoyed the levity and the fun environment. The ramen was delicious, affordable, and well thought out. It wasn’t over the top, and had just the right number of elements in each different bowl. Flavor was excellent, balanced and bright and bold, without being overbearing or underwhelming. This is some of the best
I stopped by here for dinner on a Friday night, and while there was a bit of a wait, it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is fantastic—really lively and welcoming—which made the time pass quickly. Our waiter was great and suggested the tonkatsu with the hot chili spice on the side. This was a game-changer; it allowed me to customize the heat to my exact preference without losing the flavor of the base broth. To top it off, the gyoza was delicious and a perfect start to the meal. If you’re looking for a solid bowl of ramen and a great vibe, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back to try the yakisoba!
Raijin Ramen is one of those reliable, casual spots I keep coming back to. It’s quick, efficient, and consistently good, even when there’s a line out the door—the service moves fast and you’re in and out without feeling rushed. I really appreciate that they offer a solid vegan ramen option, which isn’t always easy to find. While this isn’t the fanciest or most mind-blowing ramen in town, it delivers on flavor and convenience. I do knock off a star for heat lovers—no matter how much spice you ask for, it just doesn’t get truly spicy. Still, if you’re looking for flavorful ramen, fast service, and a dependable go-to spot, Raijin gets the job done.
