El Presidio Bed & Breakfast Inn

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at El Presidio B&B. The historic property was beautiful, especially the gardens, and within walking distance to many local sights. From the moment we arrived, Patti made us feel welcomed. She took great care to ensure we had everything we needed. Our room was spotless and stocked with drinks and snacks. Her delicious breakfast was first class. (You won’t go hungry) Patti’s a great host! She’s so kind, thoughtful and her knowledge of historic Tucson is amazing. She provided excellent recommendations for food and attractions. Easy parking- great location. We highly recommend staying here and will be coming back. Like others have stated, a hidden gem.

My husband and I traveled from coastal California to Tucson for our younger son's mid-October wedding. We expected to enjoy the wedding in spite of the record-breaking heat and be eager to return home. But we found a haven away from home in Patti's beautiful inn. The courtyard, with its fountain, mature trees, and lush foliage and flowers always seemed to catch cool air and a gentle breeze even when the world outside was baking in the sun. Sitting in the courtyard at dusk watching one tree after another light up with strings of Tivoli lights was magical. We stayed in the Victorian suite, which is part of the original main house, with high celings, deep carpets, and lovely period furnishings, art, and books. Having stayed in many, my wife and I agreed that the El Presidio B&B is a gem. Patti, the owner and host, has done everything we could imagine to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable, safe and truly unforgettable. No worries about parking on the street in this beautiful residential neighborhood, Patti provides guests with a temporary residential|parking pass. The feeling of staying in a beautifully restored historic house in Tucson's oldest district was a bonus for us.

I can't praise El Presidio B & B highly enough! My wife and I stayed in the Carriage House Suite for two nights. We were stunned by the beauty, tranquility, and spaciousness of the house and gardens. Patti was a superb hostess -- beyond all expectations. She prepared an amazing breakfast for us each morning, stocked our suite with plenty of snacks and drinks, gave expert recommendations about local dining and sightseeing, and took time to chat with us and make us feel at home while still giving us the privacy we'd come for. We spent 6 nights in the Carriage House Suite at the El Presidio B&B. The B&B is owned and run by an amazing lady named Patti. She makes delicious large breakfasts every morning, and keeps your room stocked with snacks, cookies, and various beverages. She is so knowledgeable about the area, and will give tips on sightseeing options and places to eat. There are some restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Prepare to be dazzled as you walk into her magical courtyard, with the colors and scents of beautiful plants, flowers, towering trees and a wonderful water fountain. This is a very comfortable, peaceful “home away from home” and I highly recommend staying there in your visit to Tucson!
