If you haven’t been to Rachel’s Southern Style Restaurant in Watkinsville, it’s an absolute must if you love true Southern comfort food. 🍽️✨ They start you off with complimentary cornbread that’s unbelievably soft and fluffy—the kind that melts in your mouth and sets the tone for the entire meal. 🌽💛 Today I ordered the home-battered chicken tenders, and they were perfectly juicy on the inside with a golden, crispy coating. They came with steamed cabbage seasoned just right and thick, creamy mashed potatoes topped with rich brown gravy. Every bite was comforting and flavorful—it was incredible. I was told to try this southern style home cooking. The meat loaf was tasty and the Rutabagas was just out right hands down yummy. Must eat for a mom’s home time meal. Thumbs up all the way.

The food here has the perfect southern style recipes. I am impressed!!! The kindness of the staff is wonderful and even their guests are a delight. The Mac n cheese is amazing! And that vanilla almond cake made me bite my lip it's so good. They also give very hefty servings. I'm in love!
