Customer Reviews
I've moved to Richmond Hill 4 years ago and needed a computer and the use of the Internet for research and printing documents, etc. I'm so glad I found this library. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable plus they don't mind assisting you if you ask. The volume of books are okay but don't expect it to be like the New York Public Library. However it is adequate for studying as long as your not looking to be a rocket scientist or brain surgeon. The reason I have given 5 stars is simply because this library has served me perfectly for my needs and like I said the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend. Peace and Love !🇺🇸
I disagree with people who says staff are rude. The staff here are very awesome people, very helpful with lots of patience and tolerance. These negative reviewers/entitled people won't last a day much less a few hours were they to work at the library. Couple months back, I inadvertently left my wallet with cash, credit, debit cards, driver license and medical cards. Staff Mr Michael found and had it safely secured. Several hours later I returned to the library and got my wallet back. Told him I didn't care if the cash was mising. But nothing was missing. This is what supports excellent qualities of the staff of Richmond Hill Library. Many times I observed staff patiently guiding people who practically can't figure out simple things. So ENTITLERS, please take a step back and reflect. If so
Am learning speak English in library.my first day is very good.
Love the children section the librarian is the sweetest lady and loves to get to know the children. Also, the toy section in the library is amazing for little kids. My son loves it there.
The librarian, Rebeca, is the worst employee I’ve ever encountered in all branches. She’s very rude to customers. Her tone of voice is condescending and all she says is simply “I don’t know.” When asked about hours of operation and what events currently being held, she kept repeating “Please check yourself. I don’t know.” She has no familiarity with the services and has no leadership skills whatsoever. I don’t understand why she’s still employed there. A library is supposed to be a sweet escape and safe haven to the community members, but this lady has surely made this place feel like hell. She lost my respect!
