I cannot thank Valerie enough for making us feel so welcome and comfortable; even ensuring we had vegetarian/vegan options for breakfast. The house was so lovely, cozy, and romantic (like being in a period movie or novel). Perfect location with easy parking. Loved having actual keys for the doors.
I chose the Queen Anne because I wanted the experience of staying in a historic home. If you want new and perfect go to a new hotel. If you want a special experience then this is for you! I stayed with two family members who were also thrilled to have the privilege of staying in Queen Anne. She is a beauty and so is her owner! Valerie was such a delight and wanted to make sure all our needs were catered to. It was so special to stay in a part of history. It was also very nice to have the kitchen area and living room to spend family time, play games, have coffee together....
Honestly the best Inn/hotel I stayed at in all of Augusta. Valerie the lady that works there is very sweet and thoughtful, the grandma you never thought you had or needed. The Inn is located in the historical district and it's also nearby the culture avenue. The sunroom where breakfast is served feels like a space detached from everything where I spent many a morning having pleasant and heartfelt conversations with our dear host. Did I mention that some of the rooms come with a private tub? I can not recommend this spot enough and I would take it above any of the holiday inns or Hiltons in the area.
Fantastic bed n breakfast located in the historic district of Augusta Ga. Just a block away from Woodrow Wilson’s childhood home. Enjoyed the River walk and memorial and loved the Morris museum of art. The bed n breakfast is a Queene Anne Style home with beautiful simply beautiful wooden stair case. Each bedroom has its own unique charm. Val the owner was pleasant and we had time to ourselves to enjoy the house. Great local food. Plan to return. Outstanding. There is a local college.
This by far is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Definitely the nicest bed-and-breakfast ever. Don’t listen to any negative reviews as this spacious clean wonderful charming very well-maintained. as far as slow drains in the shower doesn’t take a rocket scientist to look down at your feet and pull the anti-slip mat away from the drain. adorned with every amenity possible from air conditioning , crisp clean sheets ,comfortable beds, full cable TV and the owner Val that waited on us us hand and foot.||Knowing this was our wedding Anniversary Val asked what Our favorite desserts are, any food restrictions and a bottle of Champagne was offered. By the way Val the special ordered cheesecake and ice cream was wonderful!||Unbelievable that anyone could say anything negative about the Queen
