Quality Inn & Suites Monticello

The hotel is definitely one of the nicest ones in town, and conveniently located. It's located right on hwy 425, close enough to the majority of fast food restaurants, but far enough away for away that you're not overcrowded with traffic and noise. The rooms are nice and clean with all the basic necessities needed for a comfortable stay.

Have stayed there several times and I always find the place clean and comfortable and the staff always very friendly. They seem like they really do care if you stay there or not and that is not always the case.

Room gross, I had white nasty looking residue in the chair that was in the room. The bathroom had what appeared to be bodily fluids on the door leading to the bathroom. The shower m/tub area had hair left from previous occupants. Let's not discuss how the know to turn on the shower had green and black mold. There was what also appeared to be blood on the ironing board and hangers. Now, I'm a pretty reasonable person, however when it's being discussed about how nasty my room and the other rooms were that was rented by the other people who was in my group. The managers acted like I was making things up or was little of concern. The worst part was that they were going through banging on every door before 8 saying housekeeping... I was like, seriously. The room I got had the jacuzzi in it and I had to clean it before I could use it as there was soap scum on the bottom of it from the people before us. The next day we went out and when we came back to the room, no one had cleaned our room. Our bed was still unmade, the garbage had not been emptied (there was food from the night before in it), no one cleaned the tub or the shower. We were not given clean towels. When I called the front desk about these issues, I was told that the hotel only cleans the rooms every other day. They also told me I could empty my garbage in the big garbage can and I could go up there to get towels. No one told me that my room would not be cleaned or that I would have to do their job by emptying the garbage and going to get towels. These are amenities that expect
