QDOBA Mexican Eats

It was quite a strange experience. The customer service was good until I told my husband I was about to go to the bathroom & the young lady that rang us up suddenly decided to rush to the bathroom, even though she heard me & will clearly be there for the rest of the night. They seem to be skimping on the portions because I assume they don’t want to cook more before they close in a hour. If I’m paying $6.50 for a cup of queso I would expect it to be filled, which it was not. They barely gave a full sized portion of meat on my husband’s quesadilla which was way too expensive for such a little amount of meat. They aren’t even using the correct portioning sized utensils when serving unless they’ve changed their standard in the past few months. The queso seems to have more peppers than actual q

My husband stopped at QDOBA today, and I was genuinely excited because I love the soup there. But what we received was honestly unbelievable. We ordered two soups. Price per soup: $4.25 — so over $8 total. To show just how little food we received, I poured both soups into a single container and took a photo with my hand next to it for scale. Even after combining both soups, the container was still barely filled. That means each individual soup was basically a few sips — nowhere near a reasonable portion for the price. On top of that, the bag of chips was only about one-quarter full. At that point, I didn’t even bother looking up the price because it just felt ridiculous. Really good! Better than Costa Vida in my opinion. Their queso is amazing! Very friendly staff and fast service.

My experience was less than pleasing. I came in at a out 8pm and the floor had just been mopped and there was water everywhere, not a slight amount, but clear from a mop that was oversaturated. They were out of more than a few of the options including steak. The team was friendly, but not attentive. There was simply a lack of standards at this location. The most displeasing of all was a used glove on the cashier area customer facing. This place has all the making of a great fast food offering it of they work to improve their standards and cleanliness.

1000% better than Chipotle. Way more options and fresher ingredients. The staff at this location was very friendly. 10/10 recommend.
