Qahwa Cafe

Qahwa Cafe, located inside a mosque in Sterling, VA, offers a warm, well-lit environment. It features tasty espresso beverages like Dulce de Leche and Matcha Latte, along with a selection of teas, baked goods, and sweets. Both the Dulce de Leche and Matcha Latte were flavorful and not diluted, demonstrating quality, and the homemade-style brownie was enjoyable without being overly sweet. However, drink preparation times were quite long, even though no other customers were waiting. Cleanliness was an issue due to food on the floor. Additionally, there was no signage indicating the cafe's location in the area or outside the building, which appears to be a mosque from the exterior. We had to drive through the parking lot to find the entrance, and more apparent signs could help visitors locat

Very nice people. The boys working here are very polite and warm. Their chamomile tea was one of the best I got. I set outside on the deck and was able to charge my phone.

The cafe worker Reda was friendly, fast, and made my drink exactly how I wanted it. He made the whole place feel welcoming, and I’d definitely come back because of his great service.

Great atmosphere and rich drinks!! If you see the other pics of the iced drinks you know how mouth-watering they look. I was so happy with my iced Cherry Blossom Latte, which has the hint of flavor without overpowering the coffee!

For those who are non-Muslim, please don’t go here! I don’t understand why there is no disclosure that this place is open exclusively for Muslims. It’s located inside a mosque, which I thought it was just a regular coffee shop (they should disclose this information - maybe they don’t wanna sound discriminatory). When arrived there, I was not welcomed there, and when I asked how to could get to the coffee shop (assume it might be different entrance from the Mosque) I was told by the person that literally stand in front of the door to go ask somebody else how we can get in (at this rate, obviously I was not welcome!) Again, for those who are non Muslims, don’t come here!!!!!
