Pão da Hora Brazilian Bakery

Do not go here if you do not speak Portuguese. I have gone (Portuguese speaker) and one service was provided. Then, my boyfriend (English speaker) has gone a few times and the employees are very dismissive and rude. Clearly this is an on-going issue based on previous reviews and has not been fixed. I would recommend having the employees treat whoever goes in with respect and be kind and maybe learn at least basic English words. The two Brazilian places at the mall down the street treats you a lot better - even if you don’t speak Portuguese. I will absolutely be going only there from now on. Food is also mediocre.

Amazing spot! They had a huge variety of savory and sweet baked goods (we especially like the sweet corn cake—bolo de milho). They also had feijoada and hand pies the day we were there. Hot coffee and cold fruity drinks were on tap and plenty of seating space to grab a quick lunch or meet a friend. Everyone was SO friendly and eager to share about the food. We’ll be regulars!

They are selling old pastry they taste like refrigerator and was hard very dissapointed.I had to put orange and banana cake on trash I wish I could give them less than 1 star

Came in to a clean bakery. Display was full of fresh pastries. Everything was great. Not too sweet. Not dry. Just great stuff. Will be back for more

I am so happy with my visit! I’m not from the area but was driving through on my way back to school. My mom is Brazilian and I grew up eating so much great food in the Newark/NYC area but wasn’t able to stop at my go-to spot on my most recent trip home. I was craving Brazilian snacks/pastries and am so glad to have found this place! The bolinhos de chuva were delicious and the coxinhas were perfectly seasoned and not dry at all. The coxinhas were even cooked fresh for us and not sitting in a warmer! the bolho de milho was also so good. Everything was fresh and perfect! The woman at the counter was lovely and the service was great. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone in the area!
